Luana Savings Bank is pleased to welcome Tucker Tenge as the newest Commercial Loan Officer at its New Hampton, Iowa branch. A New Hampton native, Tucker recently returned home and is excited to begin serving the community that played such an important role in his life.
Tucker grew up in New Hampton and graduated from New Hampton High School in 2015. He went on to attend the University of Northern Iowa, where he earned a degree in Finance with an emphasis in investments. While finishing his degree, Tucker completed a finance internship with Aegon Asset Management, gaining valuable experience in financial analysis and investment management.
After graduation, Tucker continued working with UPS, where he had been employed throughout college. During his seven years with the company, he developed strong relationship-building skills and built a wide network of professional connections across the Cedar Valley. In February 2025, Tucker transitioned to a Truck Equipment company as a Finance Portfolio Relationships Manager. In that role, he strengthened his financial analysis expertise, gained exposure to commercial lending, and managed a large portfolio of customers within the towing industry—experience that will serve him well in community banking.
Now back in his hometown, Tucker is excited about the opportunity to help local businesses grow and succeed.
“I’m really looking forward to meeting and working with people in the community that I call home,” Tucker said. “I’m also excited to leverage my network to bring new business opportunities to Luana Savings Bank.”
Tucker also emphasizes the importance of continuous learning in both his personal and professional life. “I know it sounds cliché, but I truly love learning new things and seeing different perspectives. Being a lifelong learner is one of the best ways to better yourself, and I look forward to bringing that mindset to Luana.”
Having officially moved back to New Hampton in October 2025, Tucker is also eager to become more involved in the community. One area he hopes to contribute to in the future is coaching high school sports, which played a significant role in his life growing up.
Outside of work, Tucker has been busy renovating his recently purchased home in New Hampton—an experience he jokes has confirmed that becoming a carpenter is not in his future. Once the projects are complete, he looks forward to spending more time attending local sporting events and enjoying time with friends and family.
Tucker says four passions shape much of what he does: relationships, animals, personal finance, and sports. A dedicated Minnesota Vikings fan, he jokes that following the team has helped him learn how to handle disappointment. Tucker is also a self-proclaimed animal lover and often reflects on a question he enjoys asking others: “If money didn’t matter, what would you do with the rest of your life?” His answer? Creating a sanctuary for animals in need.
Luana Savings Bank is excited to have Tucker join the team and looks forward to the relationships he will build while helping support local businesses and the New Hampton community.
