Luana Savings Bank's IT Donations Save Local Non-Profits $73,500 in 2025

January 22, 2026

Luana Savings Bank is once again proud to share the success of the IT refurbishment and donation program. 2025 marked a record year, donating nearly $26,000 worth of IT equipment with a replacement value exceeding $73,500.

Thanks to public awareness of the program, Luana Savings Bank aided 20 unique non-profits last year, double that of any prior year. Of the 94 pieces of equipment donated, modern 34” curved wide-screen monitors accounted for nearly half, followed by 30 Windows 11 computers. Three laptops were refurbished-to-new condition, with the remainder composed of printers, copiers, and a video projector.

“I am honored to work for a company that invests in cutting-edge technology” states Grant Langhus, CISO.  “Not only does this keep our IT department positively engaged and enjoying our careers, but it benefits our employees and customers alike. Since our technology is cutting-edge when new, it’s often times still very much relevant when it reaches a refresh interval as few as 5 years later, able to serve an additional 5 years or more once donated. In fact, it’s not uncommon to find equipment we donated still in use 10 years later!”.

Recipients ranged from police departments, city and county governments and schools to child care, community centers, and other non-profit community organizations. Since 2012, Luana Savings Bank has supplemented organizations approximately $394,500. “2026 already looks to be another record year for donations” according to Langhus. “We encourage local non-profits interested in refurbished IT gear to reach out to us. Our goal is to serve our communities to the greatest extent possible, whether that be through exceptional banking products and services, IT donations, or the myriad of volunteering myself and my colleagues engage in both during business hours and also on our own time”.

Luana Savings Bank is continually looking for additional non-profit organizations to donate computer equipment to. To learn more, please contact us regarding IT donations.
